Sean Goode

Present to what is possible.

I am a speaker, writer, storyteller, and founder of Movement Makers. Across stages, essays, conversations, and facilitated spaces, I invite people from performance into presence and toward a more honest relationship with themselves, one another, and what they are building.

Speaking

Presence changes what becomes possible in a room.

I bring lived leadership, story, humor, and practice into rooms navigating change, identity, responsibility, belonging, and possibility.

The goal is not a temporary high or a message that disappears when the room empties. It is a moment honest enough to stay with people, give them language for what they have been living, and open a choice they can carry forward.

Current speaking territories include identity, leadership, liberation, scarcity, belonging, and presence in a polarized world.

Young people belong in this conversation.

My work with young people begins with respect for who they are now and curiosity about who they are becoming. Together, we explore identity, belonging, and the expectations they carry, with room for their own questions and experiences to shape the conversation. It is an invitation to recognize their own possibility and make choices rooted in what matters to them.

The Practice of Return

Writing from the place where certainty gives way to curiosity.

My writing begins with what I am living before I know what it means. Leadership. Scarcity. Belonging. Rejection. Family. Liberation. The parts of ourselves we perform, hide, and slowly learn to hold.

The Practice of Return is where I stay with those questions in public. Not to arrive at complete answers, but to become more present to what is true and what it may be asking of us.

The Present Gives

August 31, 2026 · The Practice of Return

A reflection on the memory of scarcity and the practice of recognizing what is available in the present.

Media and Storytelling

The people behind the movements.

Movements are often remembered by what changed. I am interested in the people who carried that change, what it asked of them, and who they became along the way.

Through hosting, interviews, conversation, and story, I create room for those interior lives to be seen and heard.

About Sean

The work was lived before it was named.

My work is grounded in lived experience as a leader, founder, facilitator, coach, speaker, writer, storyteller, and former executive director of CHOOSE 180.

That history matters. So do the parts of my life no title can hold. I am interested in the whole person because I have spent much of my own life discovering what becomes possible when less of me has to remain hidden.

The work I offer now carries both: the experience of building and leading in public, and the ongoing practice of returning to what is true within.

Movement Makers

When the conversation needs somewhere to live.

Speaking can open a door. Sustained partnership gives people and organizations time to practice what follows.

My coaching, strategic advising, organizational partnerships, retreats, and facilitated experiences live through Movement Makers, the practice I founded. The work is broader than me, but it is not separate from me.

Bring Sean into the conversation.

If you are shaping a room, gathering, interview, or public conversation where presence matters, I would be glad to hear what you are building.
